  1. All High school Choir and Show Choir students should report to the gym during power hour today to practice.Mrs. Hurlburt’s power hour students should report to their alternate power hours.

  1. All high school Choir and Show Choir students should report to the gym during power hour today to practice.  Mrs. Hurlburt’s power hour students should report to their alternate power hours. 

  2. There will be a meeting in the wrestling room this Wednesday during power hour for any high school student interested in going out for wrestling.

  3. Any student needing to take a concussion test for fall sports can sign up in the office.

  4. There will be an FFA meeting today during power hour in Mr. Patnode’s room for anyone interested.  Students need to check in with their power hour teacher for attendance before going to the meeting.

  5. Academic Decathlon will have practice tonight starting at 4:00 instead of 3:30.

  6. Attention all football players in grades 9-12:  Equipment turn in will be today right after school.  We should be finished by 4:30.

  7. Flu Shot Clinic will be held tomorrow morning.  If you haven’t brought in the consent form and are planning to get the shot, please bring your completed form back tomorrow!

  1. All 7th and 8th grade choir students are to report to the gym during power hour today for practice.  Mrs. Hurlburt’s power hour students should report to their alternate power hours.

  2. Any student needing to take a concussion test for fall sports can sign up in the office.

  3. Please excuse the middle school volleyball girls at 2:50 for their games in Prescott.  The bus leaves at 3:00.

  4. Any middle school student who has NOT signed up for Clubs yet, needs to see Mrs. Weiss before Wednesday.  6th graders will sign up today in 6th grade Language Arts class. The first club will be this Wednesday during Power Hour.

  5. There will be an FFA meeting Tuesday during power hour in Mr. Patnode’s room for anyone interested.

  6. Mrs. Weiss needs 3 workers for concessions tomorrow night.  You would need to be at the school by 6p.m.  Pep Club students or Yearbook students interested in working, should see Mrs. Weiss, ASAP!

  7. Winner for the Friday drawing in the library was Riley Radle.  The weekly drawing winner was Kiya Krings.  Thanks everyone for participating in the National Teen Read Week!

  2. Picture Retake Day is Monday, October 15th, in the Commons.Forms are in the office for any student that needs a picture retake.

  4. Today is the last day to sign up for Boys Basketball.Sign up in the office.

  5. 9th and 10th grade PEP club members PLEASE report to Mrs. Jardine’s room during power hour today for a SHORT meeting.

  6. At the High School Cross Country conference meet last night, the boys team placed 2nd and the girls team placed 3rd.Both teams had extremely close races and missed first place by less than 3 points.Individual Conference titles went to Isaac Wegner (1st), Parker Schneider (4th), Riley Radle (5th), Amanuel Bauer (6th) and Madison Sand (1st), Olivia Breidung (4th), and Brinly Bauer (7th).Thirteen out of sixteen athletes had season or career best times!Congratulations to both teams.

  7. Congratulations to the middle school boys and girls cross country teams on your performance last night in Boyceville.   Special Congratulations go out to Kendall Hagness placing 4th overall, Chloe Auth placing 7th overall, Lewis Langrehr placing 8th overall, and Parker Almsted placing 10th overall.    The girls team finished in 2nd place and the boys team finished in 4th place.

  8. Middle school students, you will be signing up for Club today during lunch period. 8th graders will go first, then 7th, then 6th grade. Mrs. Weiss will have a table set up down there, so make sure you sign up for your club.

  9. Next Tuesday, October 16th, the Volleyball team will host a WIAA Division 3 Regional Quarter-final.We host the Mondovi Buffaloes.Game time is 7:00 PM.This is a WIAA Event so no passes will be honored.

The Cross Country team had another successful meet against Arcadia this past Saturday.The girls team placed 2nd and the boys team placed 4th.Medalists include Madison Sand (2nd), Brinly Bauer (9th), Olivia Breidung (12th) for the girls and Riley Radle (7th), Manny Bauer (9th) and Parker Schneider (10th).

  3. The 7th & 8th grade football players should be released at 3:05 today to get ready for their game at Elk Mound.

  4. 8th grade band students are reminded to stop by the band room for a lesson pass if you need one on your way to lunch.

  5. All Junior and Senior mentors should meet in Mr. Terpstra’s room at 2:45 today.

  6. This week is National Teen Week. We had a bookmark contest with Miss Emma Jushka’s art classes.Winners are:Lydia Weiss First place, Kendall Hagness Second Place & Drae Bauer Third Place.Congrats to the winners.Please come to the library for your prize and picture during power hour today.Stop in the library anytime to register for daily drawings this week.

If you have any issues with correct change or the machine not dispensing items, there are forms on the machine to fill out and turn into the office and you will be reimbursed. All proceeds for the vending machines will go to Pep Club where it will be used to benefit students, so snack away! Reminder that the machines will be shut off during lunch periods from 11-1 per state regulations.

The cross country team had a successful home invitational last night.The boys placed 1st with four medalists:Isaac Wegner 1st, Manny Bauer 3rd, Parker Schneider 5th and Riley Radle 6th out of 151 runners!The girls team placed 2nd with two medalists:Madison Sand 2nd and Olivia Breidung 11th out of 113 runners!Congratulations to the Cross Country Team!

  5. Congratulations to the Middle School Cross Country teams on your performance at last night’s home meet.    The Middle School Girls team took 1st place out of 7 schools and the Boys team placed 4th.   Special congratulations to Kendell Hagness – 4th overall, Chloe Auth – 5th overall, and Lewis Langrehr – 9th overall.   Awesome job by all runners – Very Proud of You!!!!!!

Cross Country ran at Eau Claire City Wells last night.Both boys and girls varsity teams brought home First place team trophies, took both individual titles, and earned a total of seven individual medals!!Congratulations to:Isaac Wegner 1st, Manny Bauer 3rd, Parker Schneider 4th, Riley Radle 5th, and the girls: Madison Sand 1st, Olivia Breidung 7th and Brinly Bauer 11th!!!

     

  5. Congratulations to the Middle School boys and girls Cross Country teams on your performance last night at Altoona.Both teams earned 5th place out of 12.Special congratulations to Kendall Hagness who finished 3rd overall out of 86 female runners!

     

  6. Students interested in bringing a guest to the Homecoming Dance from another school, should stop in the office for a dance request form.
